Marrying your ex's boss sounds like a revenge dream, until you actually have to live with the consequences. That's the messy territory this story drags us into. A woman, freshly wounded from a breakup, ends up tying the knot with the very man her former lover reports to at work. The power dynamics alone are enough to make anyone dizzy. Every office meeting becomes a minefield, every dinner a silent negotiation of old wounds and new leverage. What started as spite or maybe survival slowly reveals itself to be something far more complicated when genuine feelings enter the picture and the ex refuses to fade quietly into the background. The real question isn't whether this marriage can survive the awkwardness — it's whether anyone involved actually wants it to.
